Our Services
Boarding
SHF is a horse friendly facility offering a relaxed, happy environment for horse and rider.
Horses are fed twice a day with grain and coastal hay. We will work with special diet and feed requirements. All supplements provided by owners and administered by SHF. Regular worming is included with board.
Stalls are bedded with thick, high-quality shavings.
Outdoor wash rack with hot and cold water.
Large, lighted round pen.
Theraplate and Bemer available for muscle recovery and rehabilitation.
Rates
5-stall main barn – $500/month
4-stall barn – $475/month
Outdoor stalls with paddocks – $475/month
Outdoor covers with pasture turnout – $400/month
Lessons
SHF offers lessons to people of all ages from children to adult amateurs and retirees. The goal of all lessons is to help riders achieve confidence, balance and harmony with the horse.
Individual Lessons
30 min. – $50
45 min. – $60
Use your own horse or one of the farm’s trained school horses
Kelly also trains at Hearthstone Riding Stable a full-service dressage facility with covered arena located north of Hwy 6 and I-10 at 3500 Longhorn Drive, Houston, Texas 77089.
Showing
We actively show our own and clients’ horses and encourage students to participate in both schooling and recognized shows. The purpose of showing is to continue to develop the horse and rider.
Training
SHF offers both full and partial training. Kelly works with each horse individually to free up their movement and develop a balanced, responsive, willing and happy partner.
Full Training
